Check out the links on the right for my latest releases.

Janet Dailey’s first book was published in 1976. In the twenty-six years since, she has written ninety-nine more novels and become the third largest-selling female author in the world, with 325 million copies of her books sold in nineteen languages in ninety-eight countries. She is known for her strong, decisive characters, her extraordinary ability to recreate a time and a place, and her unerring courage to confront important, controversial issues in her stories. She lives in Branson, Missouri.

My latest adventure: Renovations on the century-old hotel are complete. Ye Olde English Inn here in Hollister is once again accepting guests to spend the night – or nights. We officially opened the doors April 1st, 2011, no fooling. I would love for you to see it. Or better yet, come check it out in person. Ye Olde English Inn is only five minutes or less away from all the attractions Branson has to offer, yet out of all the traffic. I’m usually by there at least once a day, and I’d love to see you.

And check out the new contest to win a free copy of one of my Americana romance novels. Americana Series Contest. You can also pick out your home state – or any other – on the map and settle in with a story designed for your favorite locale. Americana Series Map

Happy Reading

Just read To Santa With Love and enjoyed it. One of the best books I have read. Is there another book to this story. If not I would love to read more on this story.

Dear Janet, I have been a huge fan for years, I have enjoyed your books so much. I love the audio Calder Series as I drive 2 hours + daily to work. They’ve been a God send to me. Over the years, I’ve read all the States books and my favorite was “Matchmakers” . I look forward to your next series. Thanks again .

Was just reading you news info and did not realize that Bill had passed; I am so sorry for your loss. It happened when I was going through my divorce and I was not keeping up with things as much as I should have. I closed my aol account at the time and did not have internet access unless I went to the public library for several years, so that must have been how I missed it. Bless your heart, I know you greived his passing desparately.

Just wanted to say, “Hello!” as it has been a while since I have posted anything and let you know that I still love your books and still look for a new publication each and every time I go to a book store. I started collecting the Americana series, but somewhere along the line, missed a few. They are all in storage at the moment, until I can get on my feet financial and get a home of my own where I can display them properly in a bookcase.

Thank you so much for your many hours of pure joy that you have brought to me through you history, facts and in-depth characters. You truly are a gifted writer. I aspire to write one story that will be published one day that will be just a small amount of the talent you exhibit. I have lost my son, and at one point in time have nearly lost all three of my daughters in different circumstances–just haven’t been able to complete any of the four stories, yet. I have started all of them; I get so far and then for whatever reason, I can go no farther.

Thank you again and God bless you ever so much!!!

    Sincerely a fan since 1976,

    Pamela J. Bailey

I have been reading your books aince my daughter was born in 1986 and am a huge fan! I just found the Bannon Brothers Trust book this week and enjoyed reading it. Cannot wait to get Honor as soon as it comes out later this month and read Linc’s story. When will Deke’s story be available?

We have been reading your books for awhile now and love them all. However, we recently started reading Bannon Brothers Trust and were upset to read you had Chincoteague listed in Maryland. It is actually in Virginia. My father is one of the Saltwater Cowboys and Wanda’s husband and son are as well. We believe the town is amazing and deserves to be known. We still love reading your books and just wanted to let you know of the wrong geographic location. If you had used Assateague it would have been correct.

Hi Janet!! I’ve been a big fan of yours since the 80′s. My sweet husband just got me a kindle and one of the first books I downloaded was one from your Calder series. I’ve also started adding your Americana series too! My promise to my husband was that if he got me the kindle, I would let go of my huge book collection altho I’m not sure I’m going to be able to give up my original Calder books, lol.

I just wanted to thank you for filling many many lonely hours with the joy of your books!!

I really want to have my own copy of your books. I really wanna know what happen to Lije and Diane. Thank you so much.

I was just at Walmart today and saw new book out by you. I wish you would add a tab to let us see what you are working on and what you have coming out next. The new book I bought was “Can’t Say Godbye” with two stories “Big Sky Country”, and “Show Me.” I love these type of stories, but I really would like to be able to put upcoming books on my calendar so that I can look for them.
